I’ve emailed with Josh before and he was very unpleasant to work with, according to the sales rep I worked with briefly, they built the company by buying out popular Facebook pages and converting them to outlets for their stories.

I believe I heard that the city has blacklisted GoLocal for publishing false information and refusing to issue a correction.

Interestingly, at the moment it appears that about half of the pages on the site are down.
